Charles Clarins
Director of Operations

Charles is a graduate from University of California, at Santa Barbara, with his Bachelors degree in History. Charles oversees the workmanship of The Haven at Pismo agency, both in the day-to-day operations and in overseeing the administrative duties. Charles has an extensive knowledge in the field of addiction and its affects on the entire family. Charles has been with The Haven at Pismo since its inception, and has efficaciously built the solid foundation that the company was built upon. Charles actively ensures the quality control required to maintain The Haven’s ability to help.

Charles is young and enthusiastic, bringing his interests in music, outdoors, and learning to his work with The Haven at Pismo, enriching the culture and diversity in the field. His passion and dedication in ensuring The Haven at Pismo’s mission statement is followed through – treating everyone with dignity and applying his motto of “firm, fair, and consistent.” Charles’ commitment to The Haven is monumental and appreciated by all.

Roman Braly, CADACII
Program Manager

Roman has been working in addiction treatment since 2011. He has worked at every level of care with a wide range of populations. In the last 9 years he has worked as a mentor, drug and alcohol counselor, interventionist, Program manager, program director as well as CEO/Executive Director and owner of multiple substance abuse programs. He recently moved up to the Central Coast and began working with The Haven and is now the active Program Director here. He brings his knowledge of working in the field along with his deep passion for helping those afflicted with addiction to our program. Currently he manages all counselors and direct-care staff, activities, and groups at The Haven. He is dedicated to our client’s success in recovery.

Maureen Attebury
Director of Human Resources

Maureen is a licensed RCFE Administrator and has over 20 years experience in the RCFE world.  She is well versed in licensing protocols, title 22 and labor laws. She has also worked as the Program Manager for the Santa Barbara County Ombudsman. With her depth and background, she will continue to enhance the values of The Haven at Pismo which is to empower individuals with dignity and compassion.   Maureen enjoys working in this complex, challenging field and is grateful to be a part of the dedicated team at The Haven at Pismo.

Ashley Hembree, LPT
Director of Health Services

Ashley oversees all medical and psychiatric needs of The Haven. She educates and guides clients through each stage of the the Haven program assuring all medical needs are being met. Ashley works directly with the Medical Director, Psychiatrist and Counselors to provide the highest quality if care possible. On Ashley’s free time she enjoys hiking, traveling, yoga and spending time with her beloved Daughter.
